Other issues aside, at least on the "English speakers will soon be ashamed" front....it's all gas and fartsAmrit Kaal loading. This country will become unlivable within the next 10 years for any rational, thinking and peace-loving person. Sadly, can't escape this so will most likely perish in this.
Legendary Progress. My heart swells with pride.
The key issue here in what you have pointed out and also what I see is the country progressing towards cultivating more hatred and 'us' vs. 'them' attitudes. Right now, most of us from this forum live in our warm and relatively safe upper middle-class cocoons and see the happenings in the country through a window but for how long? If you're rich and powerful with enough contacts in the right places, congratulations to you. But if not, what options do ordinary people have to shield themselves from this violence and hatred? What options does a person have to shield themselves and their loved ones from the increasing polarization? - That is what bothers me.Other issues aside, at least on the "English speakers will soon be ashamed" front....it's all gas and farts
English will remain an important medium for several reasons, including progression as a world power. No two ways about it
This is also low-key inciting even more state-language wars.
Agreed, and it bothers most of the (sensible) populace, as well. Broader issues like these will only increase the divide.Legendary Progress. My heart swells with pride.

Sanjay Gandhi tried this decades ago his party lost power ...though brutal but so did China and today they are well under control as far as Population growth. Infact China now is asking people to produce more children.AI is over-hyped.
India could have a bright future if
- we strictly implemented 1 or 2 child policy and
Didi and many politicians thrive on illegal immigrants for voting. Even make it easy for them to acquire aadhar card and voter card.
- restricted illegal immigrants and expelled them.
This. Totally agree instead of stupid freebies . This should be first priority.
- made education, housing, healthcare even more affordable
This . Again. Most important but not through just reservation. Other means should be discussed and done .
- improve inequalities
Sahi bola.
- stop blaming every one for our ills and took collective action
