Hi friends,
My friend is facing a weird problem, even I'm not able to resolve it. He was using Whatsapp on regular basis on his HTC One V, last week there was Idea 3G outage at his place so his internet was not working as he didn't know that he thought there is some issue with the app and uninstalled it.

Now the internet is back and working so he again installed Whatsapp from Google Play store. Now after running, Whatsapp asks for phone number and after proceeding with the phone no. Whatsapp just sticks on 'Connecting..' and doesn't proceed further.

Any help!

if it fails to connect, it would say that it would retry after 10 min.
And after another failed attempt you would be given an option to receive a call with the verification code.
This works flawlessly, just be patient.

This is bit late. Well, I tried doing everything as mentioned above, but still the problem was same. Later after using WiFi network, the problem resolved and my friend was able to connect to whatsapp.

Now again when he is using his !dea 3G network, it creates the same problem. Is there any problem with !dea 3G in Pune? Because, using other cellular networks like Vodafone doesn't create this problem.
