Android WhatsApp voice calling request thread.

Just got v2.11.561 from the PlayStore.

To summarize it again, users are required to download the v2.11.561 app on their Android smartphone or tablet (users can install it on a tablet by sideloading the installation file), and ask their friends -- who already have the feature -- to call them up. As soon as the call is over, users will observe visual changes in the user interface of the app as well as an improved call button. At the time of writing, the feature wasn't active on WhatsApp’s Windows Phone and iPhone apps.

Anyone with voice activated willing to give other members (*) a call to activate voice call ?
Mobile numbers can be PMed.

Activation suspended for a while ?
This evening called 4 friends in the same room as me - to activate calling.
Call got thru, but calling feature was not activated on their phone. All had updated WA.

The calling feature got activated on my WhatsApp on its own today, and for a few of my relatives too. I have version 2.12.5, the latest available from Play Store. The feature should be activated automatically for all soon enough.
