Laptops Where can I get the complete body for my aging Sony Vaio (VPCYB15AG/G)

Is there a place where we can source the compete plastic casing/body of the laptops? I have this netbook with me which is very powerful and I don't want to get rid of it. The trouble is the usage has made the outside plastic thing fade away. The hinges are little loose while the internals are still going strong.

In order to revive this beautiful machine, I am looking at the option of the having the plastic casing replaced.

Can someone help me point to the stores/websites etc where I can get it?

take it to a sony service center near your place. or call them up. they import new bodies for sony products.

haven't tried non-authorised dealers, at least for sony. so far, i have taken my sony stuff to their service centres only.

i got few parts from "parts people" for my dell laptop, as authorised service centre was charging too much. there are plenty of similar sites for sony as well but i've got no experience with them.

BTW doesn't this laptop have an AMD E-series APU? Its not really powerful, unless you compare it with something like an Atom.

Yes it does have AMD E series APU. Works lot better than my wife's netbook. Also with 4GB I don't even feel the need to turn on my PC. The machines let my kid play burnout paradise and let me work on Adobe Lightroom, without breaking any sweat.
