I recently bought a new guitar, so I'm looking to sell mine. I know there are lotsa 2nd hand listing online, but do you guys know which ones are more active?

Should list it here in the market section?

The guitar us a KE3 Kelly copy made by Tansen. A 24fret, I got it 2nd hand my self for 9k about 2.5 years back. So its almost 4-5 years old, has quite a few scratches but no affect to the sound. I upgraded it later on and put in EMG 81/85s.

Any help? Its just stored away since the time I got the new one.

Why dont you try ebay or asking those music shops where they sell musical instruments? Either they might sell or know who will sell or buy them. That's a pretty good way to get legit buyers for a decent price.

LOL i woulda gifted it if I didn't need the cash. If I can sell it, I can add some more dough to my comp rig cash I'm trying to save up. >.<

hmm a jackson copy tansen? ive seen a few. out of curiosity, what kind of pickups does it have? oh, just read u have emg active pickups on them.

the best bet would be rsj i guess.

CORT EVL Z4 eh? i think the kelly had a floating bridge. if so, any reason why you switched to a fixed bridge? yes, tuning is a big pain with a floating bridge, specially if change your tuning often.

btw, i just checked out ur guitar online and it looks awesome.

Err how did you check the pics online? I think the only pic online is an old one on orkut, where my account is kinda dead.

Here is the only pic I have currently.

I'm planning to take a few more tomorrow morning so I can post on the sites listed here.
The price I'm looking for it is about 16k. Guitar value is 19500, I bought the guitar for 9k and the pickups are for 10500(the emg 81/85 :ohyeah: ).

Yeah the tuning was a problem. I'm more of a hobbyist-rhythm guitarist. I don't play leads. I don't sit 3 hours a day practicing scales. So a floyd-rose is a waste for me. I play lotsa in flames, queens of the stone age, porcupine tree, so I keep going from d to drop d to drop c to standard e. This was impossible with the Tansen.

I am an amateur and I would have bought it given it was not an electric one.. Heard that those are not good for starters.. :(

Definately. Electrics are generally easier to play, since the strings are softer and all. If you learn on an electric, your finger strength won't develop enough and you'll get spoilt with the ease of it. And not being able to play an acoustic well is a crime! They sounds so sweet.

Suggest you got with a Ariana/Fender Squire acoustic. Its for about 4.5k.Amazing sounding acoustics!
