dude those top figures are multi GPU aka CF and SLI.... that's why its faster.
I think Toms shoulda tested FEAR too..

Are they using 800mhz cpu's. Heh, I get way better fps than them on my 2600+ xp.

5fps in Oblivion at 1024 0xaa 8xaf?? Last I checked I got 15fps at 1152 2xaa 8xaf :S
Same for Prey, they say 26fps at 1024 4xaa 8xaf, while I was easily getting ~40fps at the same.

^^How did you manage AA in oblivion with HDR . Or was it bloom lighting? The frame rate takes a massive dip with HDR compared to bloom lighting.

I don't use HDR only. To me, a smooth image without any jaggies looks better than fancy lighting but without any AA.

contradicting yourself aren't ya....
Surprisingly my 7900gtx outpaces my x1900xt in FEAR, oblivion with HDR gives a huge drop in frames without looking much better. I'd prefer 4x AA as well... playing at 1280x1024, smooth on both cards...
out of all the games I've played AOE + titans is the biggest pwner . Freakin thing hogs main memory and when the screen is fulla soldiers and such, frames dip like crazy. But this is a memory problem. I've observed it happens with 1 gig and not 2...
