I need a high quality brand blank DVD9. These are one sided dual layer DVD-R technically right?

Anybody know a good brand for this type and the place to get it from if possible? Even ebay India would do.
Thanks.

Verbatim'ss Are the Best ...U need a Good Writer in Order to get a Good Quality Burn

Benq 1650 Is a Good Writer for Dvd9 Burning.

Use ImgBurn as it Indentifies Layer Break Well

^ yes as he said use imageburn for your 360 backups.
go to layer break & make it user defined & enter "1913760" without the quotes.
keep write method DOA & booktype dvd-rom.

i would suggest you get ridata or verbatim dvd+r DL as they both work on the console, have already checked.

Booktype DVD-R on a DVD+R? You sure? How important is it?

I'll search for either Mitsubish on that given address above and Verbatims in other shops. Though if given a choice between the two I'll pick up Verbatim.

How much should a single disk cost??

And I've got an LG H10N. More than happy with this baby, though I've never burned anything outside 4.3g DVD-R.

^ read again params. i dint say dvd-r booktype, i said dvd-rom. if u dont change it to dvd-rom i think the disk will not work.

Oh ok, misread that.

Well thanks a lot people. I'll post the price, performance and the shop I got it from in this thread.

They were widely available at NP for ~200.. about 5 months back.
Bookmark to -ROM as stormy said, and you should be ok. You'll get Verbatim +R DL discs in NP, but even if you get Mitsus, they are the same. No difference, except for the packaging

@TH, hey we get ritek for rs130 each here in chennai are they worth trying ?

sorry for thread jacking params :P

^^ Chief, he mean Mitsubishi :P

And ya TH is right, they were available for Rs. 220/- last time i enquired for them around 2-3 months back.

Not worth it at that price-point..

Just enquired today at NP.

Verbatim DVD+R DL is for Rs. 150, Mitsubishi Rs. 160, both come with jewel cases, don't know about the media ID though.

You can get them here :

M.D. Computers
101, Siddhartha Bldg.
Nehru Place, New Delhi
Ph - 26440773

Its a small shop in the same line as CE, on the main lane.
