Where to get electronic components in Delhi

Hello,
I was told that Chandni Chowk Lajpat Rai market has shops which sell things like ICs, transistors, resistors etc.,
I tried searching but could not find a 2.5mm stereo plug too!
Any other market which has such stuff. I am looking for some switches, audio cables, 2.5mm stereo plugs etc.,
Is Chandni Chowk the only area where you get such stuff in Delhi? No place close to Noida?
Harola in sector 5 noida has a few shops but have very few items. I miss SJ road BLR!
 
Hmmmm... Ive been to lajpat rai a few times (but quite a few years ago) for a school project. I cannot believe you did not get stereo plugs. I got parts to build a b/w TV using and old 12" computer monitor picture tube !!
 
I think I went to a wrong market. there are many sections in that market and navigating that market is a nightmare due to small shops and gali's

Can you list some good shops there which I can go to.

Is it new Lajpat Rai market or Old lajpat rai market?
