del.icio.us plugin doesnt do that. It just asks you every time you add a bookmark if you would want to add it into del.icio.us. Otherwise you have to sync it manually.

Oh so it will be too much of manual work in my case.

Does it/will it maintain the directory structure?

^ It will create tags for folders. i.e if you have 10 bookmarks in a folder called 'Techenclave', it will import all 10 links and add them to tag 'Techenclave'

I use FEBE.. just google for it :)

it backs up every bit of personalisation done to your firefox :)

I use FEBE its great but its not meant for Syncing bookmarks its meant for copying bookmarks.

Sync & copy to another comp are 2 different thing.

Firefox browser itself. :)

I also have Google toobar installed on Firefox it too can store bookmarks

so all me bookmarks go wherever i go , all i need to do is install google toolbar

and login my account in the toolbar , i have my bookmars with me.

I would prefer google but I dont see how I can import my present bookmarks into it.

I tried google browser sync but it did not work & messed up I lost many bookmarks.

I decided for foxmark extension in FF & installed on both comps & it works seamlessly, the moment I add a bookmark it sync it in a while automatically, else it does check at the time I shut browser & ask me to do the sync.

I prefer auto sync so I have set the option accordingly.
