I bought what I wanted, forgot to put it up here.
1. A 320 GB Buffalo 2.5" portable external drive for Rs 3100/-
2. A 320 GB WD Caviar (?) 3.5" internal SATA for Rs 1950/-
The Buffalo one looks cute and is black. Comes with a 3 year warranty. I'd have bought Transcend for it's better build and shock proof rubber condom around it, but - it was only available in Maroon there - it had only 2 years of warranty - service sucks I suppose (Accel Frontline?).
The Internal WD I got isn't that impressive. It's an older model I guess? Caviar.. with lower performance as compared to Scorpio. But it was inexpensive for the storage capacity.
