wch car wld b the best in 5lakh range...???

swift diesel's w8ng time is too much...8 months...:@

cant w8 that long...
so plz suggest sum oder car in the price range...
 
Palio MJD/Indica Dicor :ohyeah: I bought My Indica turbo when I couldnt wait any more for the swift D :| but biosbhai waited , and i have to admit , it was worth the wait. I was not sure i could spend the extra 1L either :S .

on the other hand , indigo CS aint a bad option either ;)

the new Indica with the Swift D engine is rumoured to be launched on aug 15, and deliveries to start of Sep 15 :)

how many km you planning to run per month ?

There are some nice petrols to be had as well :)
 
i need a car wch has a gud milage...preferably diesel..

i run approx 1500kms a month...

r indicas nd indigos worth it..as i c every now nd then des tata vehic gving out black pollution...

nd also as swift petrol is availb easily...

wat if i install it with a cng/lpg with an advancer kit??? wat say..??

will that serve me gud..??
 
worth it ? its upto you to decide . there are issues like poor A.S.S, the plain looking interior plastics, but otherwise they're quite competent. A well cared tata car is no different from any other. the ones you see spewing out smoke are the abused taxi cab lot.

is the swift petrol available that easily? I think it also has a lesser , but still significant waiting period. the Palio Diesel really is a good alternative if you want better interiors than the indica, and it has the swift diesel's engine , but not the same mileage , as the palio is of solid build , unlike the wafer thin body panels of the swift :P. but then again,, the dealers /service is the same as tata.

I dont know much about the LPG/CNG options
 
check out the i10 .. now with a new engine finally.. within ur budget. I had ruled out indica coz of its image.. most of the time i c any indica pass by a bus stop.. peeps wave hands at u thinking its a cab..

I've never seen this happen, AND i have a white indica :P
 
^^ u shud visit hyd sometime.. and try stopping at any bus stop preferably hi tech city bus stop.. ur car will be crowded with peeps in matter of seconds.. :rofl:

The Sanstorm is a bloated piece of plastic and the Fiat 500 sells for close to 15L on road, wake up!
 
+1 for Palio diesel. I have a 5 yr old Palio diesel. works great (except for the bumps I made :ashamed: ) . With roads getting crampier everyday, better to have a sturdy car.
 
palio MJD will be a very good option in that price range... get the ferrari red and you are ready to smoke the road :P

hyundai accent CRDI is not available :no2:

there is only petrol version 1.5 with ABS and all. full high end version costs 6 lakh but not worth it. i see the police have been using mostly accent patrol car ;)

u can stick to swift diesel or TATA indica turbo nice car cheap but max speed upto 150-160 ;) or Hyundai Getz CRDI 1.5 all cost 5 lakh plus tax
