Graphic Cards Which card to buy??!!??

Hey guys..
Im posting from Malaysia!
This is my last day here. I have till 5.00pm malaysian time (2.30pm) to get the card.
I dont know what to do!
I simply cannot afford the X1950XTX, it costs 1850RM after tons of bargaining. Thats 500$. I cannot afford it.
Should I go with a 7900GT costs 1300RM? X1900XT, makes no sense, as it costs 1500RM. Which is quite high. In USA, its priced at 300$.
Should I get a 7600GT, for 900RM, to fend me off till DX10?

Or should I stick with my X800XL till then???!!!?!?!

Try to do something and get the 1950XTX. Else go for a 1900XT 512/256, or 1800XT 256/512 since you are anyways gonna be upgrading in the next 6 months for dx 10, hardly makes a difference.

Im tilted to a 7600GT currently.

I can spend max. 1200RM. Nothing more.

Btw guys.. A Lil' info, Abit is totally outta the Malaysian Market. Its not available anywhere!

I just got my evga 7900 GT KO (512Mb) card yesterday after installing the latest drivers the card is being read as GT/GTO is there anyway to flash it to GTX,i'm using a Zalman VF900 CU Led and the card is oced to 670/1570 :eek:hyeah: and doing just fine.Could give me the link,i noticed u said MSI i might just try it.

You sure about the x1900xt price? coz in SG its for 455 SGD, thats like 13.5k INR so maybe if you look around ull get a similar deal?

if not then no point getting any other card, the 7600gt is for 8.5k here anyway...
 
If I were you I would sell that X6800 and get E6600/6400 + 1950XTX or 1900XT.

Even if you are on a limited budget you can get a 1800XT 256 or 7900GT/GTO.

Stick to the X800XL man, if possible look for Powercolor X1900XT (here is where i found PC 1900XT for sg$455 Welcome to Potterhouse.net but this is the price in Sg).

As rave said search for the Powercolor as it is the only brand which is selling X1900XT for cheap, Sapphire cards are still above sg$ 800:S

Stick with your XL for the time being, no point investing on a card which is gonna get outdated soon since DX 10 is 'Just around the corner'.
 
Yup, the 7600GT aint gonna make a huge diff over the X800XL.. Wait a lil longer and save that cash to get ur hands on a proper DirectX 10 card..

now PROVIDED he had a X6800 (as according to you):

why would he sell it? he bought it for a reason right? OR GOT it for a reason right? do people give away X6800 like that? are there any strings attached? hmm, i wonder....(if u hv any strings in ur hat rack)

now..... THINK ABOUT THIS:

he is in Malay. He is supposed to do the selling and arrange for the cash RIGHT there? how will he get his X6800 there? he will send it via yobhcet courier?

Adi may not b exactly broke lol...he just doesnt want to spend more...so one would assume he can sell the x6800 later and make up....but again it would not be easy to sell X6800 in India for sure...

Adi had got the X6800 for free for a temporary period from V-Street for reviewing :p

he has a E6600 now
