Which cordless to go for?

i have used a sony , 2 pana & 1 eutotel (i think its china) best was sony in all aspects, the euro & pana some how i had trouble hearing at top vol. I mean if i kept the cordless & picked up the sony or corded the voice would be much better... maybe its just me but i had this prob.

there's a new beetle one with voice caller id, seen it at 2/3 friends place which seems pretty cool & good.

also the pana if you go for, buy the new 5.4ghz not the 2.xghz (thought i think it wont be in your price) but if can stretch the price the 5.xghz range is very good

A friend of mine just picked up a panasonic cordless last week from Vijay sales for 1250.

Don't know the model number. He has always had pleasant experience with panasonic and relatively bad experience with beetel after using panasonic for over 4 years and beetel for 1 year.

thanks for the suggestions guys, ill defenitely concider your posts before buying!

I think Kumar would have bought a phone by now ;). I need your help in buying a cordless phone. I have two phone lines at home and I want to be able to attend to calls from both these lines on a single cordless phone. I saw that some of the models of GE/Pana/Beetel allow you to use more than one handsets with one base. These function as intercoms. What I want to do is opposite. I want to connect one handset with two bases. Is it possible? which company and model offers this feature?

Any information will be useful.

Thanks in advance guys.

One advantage with Beetel is they replace the phone if you have any problem in the warranty period. I had mine replaced after 11 months of use and when it gave some problem, the dealer just took the phone and within a week I got brand new replacement. No problem of range for me for the Beetel cordless.

well u can buy a phone which can accept two lines.the phone which i use a panasonic has 2 phone lines and u connect upto 8 handset and works on 5.8ghz so no interferance with wifi.

well never buy cheap cordless phones which usualy transmit in 47mhz or 900mhz,now u can hear the conversation if some has a regular radio.i can always hear my neighbours in the radio.so buy a digital phone based on 2.4ghz digital or 5.8ghz.
