i have a x2 3800+ in my rig
and i was just checking which core it is so i checked it with cpu-z and later with everest
everest showed its a toledo but cpu-z shows its a manchester
so what core is it? which software is more accurate

How much is the current price of the X2 3800+ in mumbai? Also, is the stepping written on the outer box to recognize whether its a manchester or a toledo?

Well i dont think 3800 ever had Toledo core,they always were Manchester.Reason being,Manchester sports 512 x 2 L2 cache whereas Toledo has 1mb x 2 L2 cache.

Funny part is,my Opteron 170 is Denmark core but CPU-Z shows it as Toledo core.lol

So there you go....if Cpu-z doesnt have the updates list of the cores and the names then it detects anything.

When i used a socket 754 Sempron 2500+ for the first time,CPU-Z detected it as Engineering Sample....hahaha

Its a toledo darky... just like in the skt 754 days, we had clawhammer 2800+ and 3000+ proccys. Its the same chip with half the cache disabled.

I know that but still...
i am not disputing that there is toledo cored 3800 but it does NOT have 2 x 1mb cache which is unique for toledo....lol

Anyways i got it,just doing TP
