Which CPU cooler best for my rig

Guys,

please suggest the best CPU cooler option for my rig. This is the first custom cooler i will be using :ashamed: and I need to retain it for sometime ( support for future sockets)

Budget: 1.5 to 2K

Rig: E8400 'C0' / Abit P35E / Transcend 'P' DDR2 800 - 4GB / Coolermaster Elite 335

Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus - 1900

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro - 1800 ( Rahul GO, but wait period)

Ultimate90 ( if its below 2K)

or any other better option

I want the best cooling performance, not bothered about noise or mounting issues

I wont keep mounting them often, once fixed it will stay there

My sincere thanks to any help in this regard :)

+1 for CM Hyper 212+ using on my X2 550BE OC @ 3.7. Pretty Cool n Fits easily into Mid Size Cases,hyper 212 plus performance under 2k is a value for money buy.

You could try the Cogage True Spirit. Using it in my home pc and is getting the job done pretty well.

Phenom II X2 550 @ 3.6GHz @ 1.392V Vcore full load temps = 27C max.

Yes, please keep the suggestions pouring in. my proccy & cabinet is similar to Spectre and i am also looking for a CPU cooler in the same budget range 1.5 - 2k.

I did not buy it, we got it as a review sample.
