If unable to flash firmware than you need to try with a *.cvt version of the firmware with the flasher mentioned in the thread.

ummm...when i open n select upgrade, it shows "Nwe Firmware blahblah"

thats it...doesnt take more than 0.1secs

Are you flashing in Safe Mode ? It is recommended to be in Safe Mode for flashing the firmware and also better to clear the learned disk list and uninstall/reinstall QSuite2.

want to change my nec 3500 front panel. its white. doesnt look that great & since the other drives i got are black wanted to know if i can get it.
