Anyways, 7800GT's your only choice now .
The 7900GT must be for about 350 Euro, which is like 16k. .

Except that they still use the pound in the UK..
Oh, and 350 euros are about 18K, not 16K.

Yes,mohit.
I dont think so the upgrade from x850 xt pe to 7800gt is worth it.
In some game benchies i have seen x850 taking the lead.
Also the performance difference is not that much,say abt 10-15%.
If u wanna upgrade then go for 7900 gt at the least or x1900 ones.
But if u want sm3.0 and hdr then it is a completely different story.
Also big 7800gt costs 20k in mumbai just for the price update.

HIS is a very good brand however the x1800xl is not a very good performer.

Mohit depends on how much is your X850 XT PE is going for... If the price difference in more then 2K then i will advise you to keep the X850... No point jumping... I swapped my 7800GT with X850 XT PE for a price difference of 4.5K... You wont notice a difference jumping from X850 to 7800 GT... Trust me if you can...

okie guys .. well just keeping my fingers crossed now .. my x850xt pe is going for around 14k but it might just not work out .. i have decided to do this :

if it goes for 14k ill get the 7800GT

if it goes for 12k ill get the 7600GT XXX

X1800XT/7900GT not in my budget and so they are out.

I think a 7600GT XXX will easily be equal or better than my x850xt pe .. and plus it has HDR n SM 3.0 and it will have some resale later. and right now its price is very decent and ill be only gaming at 1024*768 or 1280*1024 as of now .. so its okay for me.

7600GT is only slightly faster than the 6800GS. Maybe around the 6800Ultra performance. In most things X850XT PE is gonna end up being faster.
