Guys..I was wondering..which graphic card to buy for my pc?:hap2:
I think ATi..is better...DO YOU AGREE?

I want 512MB Card..which is better?

if you have money buy a X1900XT as its Image Quality is much better than Nvidia & it can do AA+HDR too.
 
I guess the question is, what chipset is better for performance ? nVidia or ATi. From what I have read, it would make a difference at each level e.g. entry level the performance of one may be better than the other, but not so at the ultra high level.

When you ask what graphic card to buy, you may also want to specify what is your configuration you have and what is your budget
 
Not gonna vote.. Coz its always back and forth..

nVidia had the market with its 6 Series, and ATi seriously lagged behind with the X8** Series..

Now the X1*** Series, is better than the 7 Series...

Both are equally good companies.. And itll stay that way.
 
It depends on what level you talk of. Personally,

Technology/Innovation: NVIDIA

Standards compliance/Performance: ATI

I would, however, say that ATI is probably the better choice for end-users while NVIDIA is better for developers. :)
 
Err, see no point in this poll..

I would say each brand has its own strong points and weak points. Maybe comparing cards in a segment or such makes more sense, imo as we cant say that any company as of now rules all the segments..

Well, nway, we have an opportunity here for fanbois to come forwards.. :)

I like nVidia coz of thier innovation & new technologies they offer...!! Remember nVidia r the first to introduce SLI, & they r the first to implement shader model 3.0 .....!! While ATi cards deliver good performance!!
 
^^LOL SLI was first pioneered by 3dfx and not NV. Also ATI beat NV by a long shot on the bigger jump in technology... From Shader model 1 to Shader model 2. They are gonna beat NV again when R600 comes out in tech as it'll be the first card with unified shaders.
