CPU/Mobo Which Heatsink To Get?

im changing my intel stock HSF n going for one of these zalman one's.
Newegg.com - ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU 120mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan - CPU Fans & Heatsinks
the zalman cf7700 is perfect for me, but the only thing is that its a 120mm fan and i have a feeling it will be too big for my DG31PR and zebronics marco cabi.
the other choice is,
Newegg.com - ZALMAN CNPS7000B-CU 92mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan - CPU Fans & Heatsinks
the zalman cnps7000b. seems perfect size with a 92mm fan but it does not support LGA775 without purchasing a bracket for 3$.

im NOT gonna be overclocking so pls suggest either one of these 2 only.
will the zalman cnps 7000b work well on a DG31PR witht he bracket?
 
do check for sunbeam core contact freezer the best cooler around for 2k...and also check if it wud fit rite in ur cabbie n board. if it does then nothin beats it ATM.

+1. From the cost, the zalman is approx the same (prob more through KMD)

i aam abut to get a phenom 9950 125W am2+ and a amd's ASUS M3A78 -PRO(AXT) or a M3A78-EM(mAXT) any details of them would ALSO be helpfull

The CCF does come with a 120mm fan. The cooler ATM is priced at around 2.6k.
 
I run exactly the combo you're getting: 9950BE, M3A78-EM and Sunbeam CCF. All housed in the highly claustrophobic but super silent Antec Solo, the CPU runs 40 idle, and upto 53-55 load (not checked load temps yet) with the exhaust fan at minimum speed.

I was getting much lower temperatures in the very porous CM Elite, but the noise could be heard six feet away so out that went.
 
No, I mean my ears are terribly sensitive to noise and I needed a quiet environment at all times, even at the cost of slightly higher temperatures.

The CCF fan grumbles but cannot be detected at the lowest of speeds under the noise of the case fans. At higher speeds it escalates to a heavy rumble but thankfully it does not emit the shrill whine and clicking a lot of other fans do.

I doubt you'll have a problem with the noise. I'm a bit of cranky old fart when it comes to anything to do with the ears, so don't take any of my posts in this regard out of context.
 
dies anybody know where to get scythe coolers...
their reeven and mugen are amazin value..
its supposedly better than ccf..
even ocz vendetta...
but none of these are availible in india..

they have a good selection of coolers . also cech lynx online or arambir in our dealers paradise section. :)

or you can have KMD bring one down for you from newegg.com like a lot of perple have done for various parts of theirs :)
