I use firefox. I checked out opera, however during a very brief testing of both broswers, I found: Firefox uses more memory UNTIL you have many tabs open (I had 12 for each browser test open at once) then Opera becomes a huge resource hog using roughly 9% more ram then firefox. The open tabs were the same for each browser. Keep in mind my firefox is very very tweaked and customized, opera was completely default. I don't know if tweaking opera would lower its ram usage or not, but I am very happy with firefox. Now if people would stop IE specific pages, we'd all be set :)

why don u get IE 7 then?
its got tabbed browsing..u wont have to swap IE and FF this way. :P
 
^^ tried IE 7....some how it feels odd...didnt like the messing up of the address bar and the buttons....

IE 6 works just fine :D

hey masky, FYI, IE is not light on resources. Just that the .dll and the .ocx and what not are loaded by windows from before. The IE executable thats why appears to be taking less resources while actually its lugging along a nice fat a$$ :hap2:

FireFox all the way!!
 
firefox. only becaus of plugins. i can save flash videos off youtube, one click upload to imageshack etc etc. Can be enhanced like crazy.
