hey masky, FYI, IE is not light on resources. Just that the .dll and the .ocx and what not are loaded by windows from before. The IE executable thats why appears to be taking less resources while actually its lugging along a nice fat a$$ :hap2:

but on mah uber l33t office PC (P2 400MHz / 128MB) IE is much faster than FF :bleh:

FireFox only. If you ever need to use IE then use IETab extension for switching the rendering engine of a page from inside firefox...the page remains in the same tab only the rendering engine is IE now...:)
 
firefox rocks...havin better facilities with IE interface.mozilla started its browser with "mozilla" but it didnt work out then it launched "mozilla firefox".i m using he latest 1.5.0.1
 
firefox here, ie feels faster bcause most of it is integrated with windows so it doesn't have to take time to load and render pages. i bet half of its dlls are loaded at startup
