Does nvidia stopped 9800gt cards? which ATi card gives 9800gt equal performance ? and at what price i will get a card for low end gaming? my config is AMD 550BE + biostar ta 790gx + Zebronix 400w platinum series +2 gb kingston...................... thanx

the radeon 6670 will be an equivalent . does not require any external power and its a great entry level gaming card. you will also have to update your ram to 4gb for better frame rates in today's games

Nvidia hasn't stopped the 9800GT, its still available in the form of the GTS250. If you are looking for an ATI/AMD equivalent, the perfect card would be the 6750.

The 6670 is slightly slower than the 9800GT/GTS250/67xx but in turn doesn't require an expensive SMPS/PSU.

GTs 250 was 9800 GTX+, not 9800 GT... And, no I dont think it is available anywhere now. Why do you wanna go for such an old card... Get any nvidia or ati card within 5K range (nvidia 5xxx or 6xxx, amd 6xxx or 7xxx), they should perform in the region closest to 9800 GT and would consume a LOT less power.

6670 of course.... Better performance than 6450 (whateve performance that there may be)... What do you need the card for? Gaming or HTPC? Am asking this because, I dunno how any of these cards are gonna help you in playing today's games...

Get Sapphire HD 6770 @ 6.1k, low power consumption , considerable performance increase at 1366x768 res . Gaming at 1440x900 is optimum for this card.

How does 6670 fare against the ageing HD4850 purely on performance level if we ignore the heat & power consumption altogether...
