Laptops Which is a Robust NetBook ?

Hi all

Want to buy a Robust NetBook (mainly for Audio Editing -> sony sound forge )
Price is not a factor max 30,000.

main concern Good Battery life and again very good processor

robust netbooks are not available as netbooks are for only low power applications. IF you are looking for small screen models there are few models from HP & Sony Vaio (both are ava in India ).comes with 13" screen sizes .... Commercially Fujitsu & Panasonic(Toughbooks) makes robust laptops buts costs more than 1 lac !!!
 
^^^X220 is a business ultraportable and that too the world's most powerful business ultraportable with 23 hours of battery life its not a netbook!!!!
 
Go for a Pentium/i3 based lappy, as i dunno if atom can actually make the cut for audio editing. Outfit it with 9 cell battery. That will be more than enough.

As far as ruggedness, i dunno if it will be there at all!

hey sunny, did you get it, i know you were tyring too could you post a review on the lines of the excellent DMZ review you did?how much did it cost you?i know you were trying to get it from the states.TIA
 
No I didn't- I was trying to source it from Amreeka. The dollar went up and my savings took a nose dive. I will buy it eventually--someday soon maybe in the not too distant future!
