Which is Best In-Ear Headphones ?

My friend is Looking for In-Ear Headphones

Usage:
Mostly Hindi/Eng Songs @320 Kbps
Need Real clear sound with good bass

Shape of In-Ear IS MUST. As normal headphones do not fit due to small ear size :)

Here are few which I have gone through,

Creative EP-630 - Heard them, Personally felt very bad bass. Many people love this one. I liked sound clarity but it lacks bass very much.

Creative EP-830 - No idea on this one.

Philips SHE9850 - Never heard

SoundMagic PL30 - No idea on this one.

Sony MDR-EX35LP - No idea on this one.

Max. Budget: 1400 Rs

Please suggest.
 
I heard SoundMagic PL30, It's very good and VFM, also it has very positive reviews, I can only suggest you here :)
 
If your budget is 1400 then u might even get a Sennhieser cx400/cx300! I am sure there was some deal sometime back on the same.

And it looks like you want to try new pair of earphones. So you could get hold of a PL-30 + E3/E5. Will easily come within your budget!

get the pl-30 with e3/e5. its a great combo in your price range.
 
Mate go for Soundmagic PL30:)

Pros:

Very cheap, bass response adjustment dial, replaceable earphone tips, good sound quality

Cons:

Hard to keep clean, bass isn’t very punchy, noise isolation could be better

Despite the low price tag, the sound quality of these headphones will satisfy all but the most discerning of listeners. They are a bargain. ..

Get SoundMagic PL30 or Creative EP-30

and I am using ep-630 and there is very good bass,is depends on which input device.When I use it with my k550i(modded) phone,the bass is superb,but when used with ma rig the bass sucks as my rig has onboard sound card.The bass gets improved after prolong use.
 
I agree with Hacker.
The sound source is mostly influential for the output, esp in case of above mentioned earphones.
eg u can't expect AL M5021 to sound very good with onboard sound card. They sound much better with even basic Creative Vibra sound card ( it's an ancient card, but It's true).
 
Anyone dealers on forum want to sale Sony MDR-EX35LP ?

How about SoundMagic PL30 ? Saw somewhere on forum for 750 with Shipping, Is it still open ?

Do you think EP-640 is even better then Sony MDR-EX35LP Or SoundMagic PL30 ?

I felt real bad bass on EP-630, not sure about EP-640
 
^^ Well if there is one thing I have realised is that sound is very subjective. I gave my RE1 earphones to my friend to try and he commented that the Sony in ear earphones were much better than these as the bass had more thump. He was shocked that I paid 6500 for these earphones and thought I was crazy.

It was then that I realized that everyone looks at music in a different way. Some love lots and lots of bass and some don't. So we should not really say one earphone is better than the other. Rather we should try and describe the sound as best as we can. Just my 2 cents.

PS. I am still feeling terrible at being ridiculed for spending 6.5k for the RE1 when I would have been happy paying 8k for them. :(

Is Sony MDR-EX35LP better then SoundMagic PL30 ? I am planning to buy PL-30 but I dont know from where can i buy. If Sony MDR-EX35LP better then SoundMagic PL30 i will try to increase my budget and buy it from Sony World ASAP.
