Which is better?

So, I was surfing on the Amazon's website looking for some refurbished mini pc's.
And i came by these two PC's.
1 - Dell Optiplex 7040 Mini PC [ Rs 9,800 ]
2 - HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Mini PC [ Rs 8,100 ]

Now, the problem is both of these has a Intel i5-6500T and 512GB storage(SSD), and the dell has extra 8gigs of ram.
So what should I be buying the Dell one or the Elite desk G2 and then upgrade it to 16Gigs?

Also, is it possible to use 64 gigs of ram in elite desk(It has a processer which supports ram upto 64Gigs)?

You can easily get similar mini PC with i6 6500T + 8GB RAM for 7000-7500. Add your storage, the drives included in those listing are shite anyway.

Both are pretty similar for what they offer. Though I would go with 800 G2 out of the 2 just because it has a type c front I/O.

As of ram, I guess both support upto 16Gb per UDIMM slot so I think it'll be 32GB.

If WiFi and bluetooth are on ur list then i would skip both and look for the one with integrated connectivity. Also, try to invest in atleast 8th-10th gen especially for windows. For Linux it's okay.

@GiZbo , if wish to run Windows 11, go with Lenovo i5-8400T
 
Out of the topic but If you have the budget and meets your requirement you could also look into n100 mini pcs. If you are lucky you can find second hand as well.
