As of now, i know of only Creative EP-630. But its been the best for a pretty long time, has there been no shakeups yet? No new products or price cuts of previously expensive options?
I live in Pune, so anywhere in pune where i might get these or online orders?

I have contacted Kathmandude.
BTW, i require 2 of these.

u can get 2 1/2 ep-630's in tht price! Surely ep-630 is the king in the <1000 range

ep-630's are are still the best in-ear headphones for their price 750/-. What more can one want for 750 bucks.:D

God, its almost painful hearing such good comments about the EP-630. They are the only headphones above Rs 200 that I never liked.

Anyways my biases aside, there is only one other decent contender - The Audio Technica CK-5 for about 700 bucks from Planet M.

I don't know if they are still available, but they are much better in the mid range that the EP-630 which muffles all the vocals in a song, but the CK-5 lacks the low end punch that the EP-630 delivers. So take your pick.

If you listen to rock or hindi pop songs, then the EP-630 will deliver. If you listen to English music with a lot of vocals, the EP-630 will disappoint unless you are tone deaf ! ;)

Well, my main purposes are hindi music, Instrumentals and movies.

I have never heard of the Audio Technica CK-5, Anybody else used it?

Here - you can read a review - ATRACLife Colloquium > Review: Audio-Technica ATH-CK5

I am being biased since I really did not like the EP-630, so please take what I say with a pinch of salt. (Ok a lot of salt).

The EP-630 is not a very bad earphone, it is quite decent for most people, but people call it so good it gets to me since I really hated those earphones and never got used to their poor midrange (so vocals are drowned out) and the bass is so boomy, it gives me a headache after some time.
