Hi all comp techos,

I want to build pc & zeroed proccy around 7K-8K (E6750 or E8200 or used Q6600).
But i m little bit confused about mobo, as i have read some where that intel orig is the best mobo if not to be oc'ed.But here i see that Abit IP-35 is the most common choice of the members. And i m not intersted in oc'ing.
Pls advice me which mobo should i go for Abit or Intel in case of non-oc'ing??

go for Abit IP35 either for stock settings or for overclocking it is very much stable board... no intel @ that price can give you that much headrooms as this board...

i have p5n-e sli and it is also fine if u want asus. pretty stable. good ocing options. i am easily able 2 oc my Q6600 to 3.4GHz but de cooling is not so good. no sb cooling and a aluminium passive heatsink on the nb. it costs 7.5k. temme ur budget.

the best mate for a c2d or quad c is a p35 chipset based mobo...
now its a myth that only intel makes quality non oceable mobos...intel mobos are far over priced dan their counterparts...:@

the thing is once u get a c2d or a quad c u`ll overclock..believe me.. :bleh: ..and believe me u`ll be amazed how cool dese chips run even when oced and under load....

even if u dont oc...why pay more ???? the abit comes at 5.5 and the intel one comes at abt 6.2k...save the extra money and invest in either more ram or a decent psu

Thanks for ur kinda help.I am glad that i have joined a fantastic forum with NICE & GREAT MEMBERS.
I would definitely go for p35 based non-intel mobo.
