the Asus motherboard is Crossfire and I wanted to SLI?

the Gigabyte motherboard has 4 Fans?
 
I doubt these boards will properly support Conroe.

I'd rather suggest buying DDR2-1066 RAM for the time being.
 
^^ DDR2-1066 is damn too expensive now ..... its prices will go down soon ..... so i think it will be waste of money now ..... better wait for launch of conroe and decide ....
 
Buying stuff with Conroe in mind is a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.

I would rather stick to your current rig for another 6 months.

Please describe what is "Not supporting a proccessor Properly"

In a couple of hours, we will know, what fugger did on his ASUS P5WD2-E Premium + the conroe 2.14 Ghz ES
 
All 975 mobos produced after january 2006 support conroe. But udit seriously no point buying a board now when conroe is 6 months away. And by then the prices of these boards will drop quite a bit and cheaper 965 boards will be available as well. And no point buying the ram now even, prices for those will drop as well. I suggest u wait, dosent matter if ur sis is coming now, it wont be of any use getting the sutff and then gathering dust on it.

The results are delayed since hes having trouble with the P5WD2-e (No proper BIOS Update released na :P)
