Kingston Data Traveller Mini Fun 2GB - Rs. 800 is the clear winner here :)

why would one need a 10yr warranty on USB drives, they would be non-existent by then i guess.

try formating the disc and check speed's again (sometimes these usb stick's come pre-loaded with crap), or better try different file-system if the option is there and test it.

then how did vulc4n get high speeds?

:( :( :(

I don't know but I remember the mini speeds not being very good. Anyway, if you want speed, you have to go for a high end product of a brand like the Sandisk Cruzer Titanium, or the Kingston DataTraveler Elite or Transcend JetFlash v1xx.

Maybe you can ask your dealer as to whether he has a high end drive available?

That is strange indeed.. I promise there was no hera-pheri with the testing..
Did you check around on the net for other reviews of the Data Traveller Mini (never mind that TechTree crap)?

So, how did the Sandisk Cruzer Micro work out for ya Udit? I'm looking to pick one up for myself by the end of the week, was wondering what you thought 'bout it, if you got it exchanged in the first place, that is.
