go for microsoft wireless keyboard + mouse 700 combo will cost under 1.2k

i find microsoft keyboards better coz they have bigger keys
 
i like logitech more... coz microsoft mice are super light and they dont remain stable while playing games :)
 
yes the newer microsoft mices are a little lighter but he is not a serious gamer i suppose to take into account such minute details.
 
Well Dont go for trandsend Lot of fakes around. I would suggest you Go for Sandisk Micro Cruzer It will be tough to source one but definately Worth the search and money. I got 4GB for 1800. You can get less for 1K.

Beware of fake chinese products. Lots of sony and transcend fakes are there am warning you. I choose Sandisk Micro Cruzer for its built quality and speed. And Above all less chances of getting fake.
 
People please stay away from transcend, sandisk, kingston, iball etc

Stick with buffalo and corsair, you will love their transfer speeds.

microsoft basic optical mouse usb - 450

logitech new touch 200 usb keyboard- 400

all this from computer empire

Buddy, u did wrong, since u had budjet of Rs 1K.. You wd hve opt
2 x 2GB kingston Data Traveler..Rs 500 each instead of single voygear..
If smehow one gets corrupt, u can hve next one..:D:

Dude why wud he spend 200 extra bucks.

Also he will get lesser space if he gets 2X2GB sticks than if he gets a 4GB one.

The older kingston data traveler is not available atleast in mumbai ... they make the one with the push button which slides the port out and is very fragile .. moreover there is no warranty claim if the button is no longer working which means your pendrive is useless.

I think you made the right choice .. let me know how the mouse feels.

Hah look at the article posted by pappu ... Corsair Voyager 4GB is the clear winner.
 
Yea that was the test after which i suggested this to many of my collegemates ... good for rough college use and indian weather.
