PC Peripherals Which PSU?

Nt creatin new thread..,

i m nt sure which PSU to prefer for 7900gs,c2d and our usual hdds n writer...

400w comes by default,i guess...

DO i need more...?

n which are cheaper but good psu's
 
^dipen: 400W wont suffice for that rig at all....you will need to get a 500W psu for that....if you are low on budget then get the powersafe 500W....better still if you can get the Coolermaster extreme power 600W for 3.6k

I would think twice before saying that.

OC'ed Quad Core Intel CPU + OC'ed 8800GTX + 2-3 HDDs + Couple of Fans is capable enough to give the 750W a run for its money :ohyeah:

Coolermaster Extreme Power 600W or Seventeam 500W or Powersafe 600W or Zebronics 540W can suffice that kinda Rig.;)

CM is a Seventeam based PSU FYI :P
 
hey, if you want a decent power supply 500w, why not consider a seventeam psu....mine supports 18A on both 12V rails... that should suffice for any non-sli system.... why spend more ....
 
:) That might not be available in Bangalore.....and in all honesty there is a comfort factor in going for a popular brand....it just gives you a bit of peace:ohyeah:
 
Damn....Couldnt find Seventeam,Cooler Master...

Will have to search Powesafe or Zebronics.....Lets c...!!

How many types of POWERSAFE 500W exists in market??
is there smthing like silver plated or gold plated in it??

whats price diff n reliability betn powersafe 500 n zebro 500w...

POWERSAFE = Golden color + Dual Fan
VIP = Silver color + may/may not Dual Fan

Inner components are almost same.

cz my dealer is out of stock wid powersafe 500w n wen i askd at other place, he quotd 2.6k as compard to 2.2k my dealer quoted...

wen i tld him that,he argued sayin tht my dealer must b havin silver plated..so i got confused..

btw dealer MIGHT Be havin zebronics 500w,in tht case wht shud i do..

cz for powersafe itl tak 4 days..

n wht abt the cost of zebro..wil it b cheaper or costlier?? n in terms of reliability!?
