Adept
I have Asus A8N-E . I want minimum 1gb ram in dual ch with the speed of atleast 400mhz pc 3200.
I live in Delhi.
I have amd 64bit 3200winie(939)

Within 8k which ram should I get.
It should be good for gaming performance and graphics perfomrance like maya,photoshop,blander,3ds max etc
It should be stable(will it be as stable as corsair value select?)
It should give 1-5yrs warranty ,maybe 2-3yrs or more
It should be compatibile
It should allow good overclocking(optional)
etc

Please give manufacturer,model name,latencies,shop name,price,other details

Corsair XMS PC3200C2 is the best bet at around 8K. It has Winbond BH-5 in the newer revisions.

I am selling OCZ Gold VX 512MB x 2 originally purchased from Newegg.com. If interested, PM me. Comes with Life Time Warranty from OCZ.

OCZ is not present in Inida. what warranty will I get?

Also, tell ram that my motherboard supports and is in the manual.

Also, where do you dinf corsair xms for 8k?
isn't it for 12-13k?

The 3200XL is 12K, 3200C2 is 8K.

Don't offer me second hand ram nor ram that I can not claim warranty in Delhi.

Tell me shop, price, details, city,no. ph,lateincies ,warranty and compatibility of :
2 X 512mb ddr 400/533 hynix d43 dual ch
1gb in dual ch ddr 400/533 corsair 3200C2
1gb X 2 ddr 400 / 533 dual ch

Techboy your best bet is Hynix D43.
BH-5 or any other winbond chip will need higher voltages to overclock or operate at high freq.

I want to claim warranty in Delhi.
Also where do I get d43 ram moduels, cost, latencies, shop no etc.
Can't I have it box packed.

Also, how does it matter if I need higher voltages?

Also,can I use ddr 533 ?

BH-5 usually at its best when you provide say more than 3v.
Your A8N e can only support upto 3V.
And no you dont get Hynix boxed pack these days.
It comes in OEM packaging.
I dont know much about Delhi but PM guys who stay in Delhi they must be knowing the dealers in Delhi.

Yes, my boy you are correct! Corsair is the way to go.

@techboy: If you're buying it from abroad then Corsair XMS 1GB with latencies 2-3-3-6 and a silver heatspreader si available for 121$ on zipzoomfly. That's only 5,300 odd bucks. The exact model number is Corsair twinx1024-3200c2pt (512x2).
If you want lower latencies then the XL or Pro series but these will be a lot more costly.

Go here for a price listing

Incidentally, for those who're tolkien fans over here, did any of you know where the company Corsair got it's name from?
the men of the East, further south of Mordor were called the Corsairs

Yeah but the company got its name from the literal meaning of corsair which is a pirate ship. Even their logo is that of a ship.

guys guys.
Understand this thing. He has been asking this questions since forever.
The corsair XMX PC3200c2 is winbond UTT. To run these at low latecies he will need to give it something in range of 3.1-3.2v
THis is not possible on A8N-E. and Winbond suck at higher latecies.
It has max 3V for Vdimm.
The XL on other hand is tccd but costs 14K.
He is not getting it from abroad, he wants it here.
To run masky's RAM he will need to vmod his mobo. I dont know if he is experiened enough to do that or he even want to do that.

Those options gone the next is D43 and new Twinmos.
Twinmos POwerchip overclocks to 250Mhz at 3-4-4-8 at 3V.
SO does the Hynix D43.
Get any one of these.
