Which shoe for Gym??

Now that i have started going to the gym i want to buy a good pair of shoes .I will be buying from ebay.com.Here are few shoes which i have shortlisted.

My Budget is 100USD

1) Mizuno Mens "Wave Rider 11" Running Shoes US 12.5 NIB

2) Mizuno Mens Wave Rider 12 Running Shoes US 12.5 /2E

3) Mizuno Mens Wave Rider 11 Running Shoes US 12.5

4) Asics Mens Gel-Nimbus 9 Athletic Shoes US 13/2E

5) Brooks Glycerin 4 Mens Running Shoes Sz 12.5 D MED

These shoes cost a bomb if i pick them up locally here in NZ:@.If there are any other recommendations please make sure there is shipping option available to NZ
 
Well according to a study its better if you train bare feet, as so called specialized shoes can do much more harm then good.
But about your requirement try any good training shoes & u will be done. I am using my running shoes for gym training & never faced any trouble.
 
i have two different pairs for gym

i wear basketball shoes for gym use, coz they give good support to my ankles.. esp during a heavy legs workout. i find myself sitting n getting up much easier

and use running trainers for cardio days coz they r easy to run on.

proper shoes will change the way u workout..and are much better then bare feet. give both a try n decide on your own. (not to mention ull make friends easier then a lookin like freak barefoot) :ohyeah:
 
The thing with online buying is shoes are damn expensive in NZ.If you can point out a good shoe i will look in locally try it and then get it off from ebay.
 
Just get the cheapest sneakers you can find ie US $30

If you're running on a treadmill then thats all that you need.

If your going cross country then you want good shoes.
