Which Split AC to buy - Mitsubhi, Daikin or Panasonic?

What about O General and Daikin? I heard they use really good quality parts. And also will there be any problem with availability of spares?

Daikin is now manufactured in India plus unlike many other manufactures, they do not change their product line up every year. Availability of spares is easy with Daikin, infact they have authorized spare parts dealer outlet as well.

I also heard that Daikin, Carrier, O General etc are good for corporations/companies, but not for home users when it comes to Customer Support.

After sales support is a hit and miss with most companies in India and varies with location and person with whom you are interacting. I have heard horror stories about Sharp and Hitachi customer support, whereas my experience with Sharp was good.

I would say go with brand which has service available in your area.
So far among the japs Panasonic and Daikin both have good service coverage.
Other then hitachi that is. All three are good but if I am in the market I will buy a Daikin again.
