Law and order : special victims unit is a lot bettr than criminal minds.Also CSI is good.
 
BSG FTW!!! Numb3rs and Greys is good. Boston Legal and Las Vegas are mostly junk even though I have seen them all.

The wire

"The Wire" (2002)

The highest rated series on IMDB and it well deserves it. Hands down the best series I've seen in a few years.

Also Dexter is brilliant. Its about a serial killer who kills serial killers. How can you not like that?
 
Try Life. The finale is brilliant. Life On Mars is another great show.

Lost I found extremely irritating, dramatized reality show if you ask me. Prison break they should have ended in Season 2, the season 1 was so goddamn awesome, season 3 was totally hopeless...

best rated comedy on imdb and i think deserves every bit of it
"Arrested Development" (2003)
i have watched scrubs and seinfeld and both are fantastic series.seinfeld is a classic to say the least and becomes better as you go through the seasons and finally see jerry seinfeld "act",scrubs is more of a goofy humorous type set in a hospital with some of the very best episodes that you will ever see in a serial.
 
^^ hehe never, friends was good but nowhere near as good as say seinfeld or scrubs... Arrested development I have just started watching. Another good comedy series (British) is Red dwarf series....

I was gonna suggest that to u on the very first day itself.. as i had read some member saying that the series was really good and another one confirmed the same.

But a quick check at IMDB user commets were really not encouraging.. not one or two but a whole lot had been ranting abt how badly the series was done.

Any other leads on the quality of the show ..? :S

i am talkin abt this one: "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" (2008)

Oh n by the way u can watch the oldie series: Happy Days or M.A.S.H

if u like retro that is... :)
