Which VFM Split AC to buy?

@lazyme : select either of Onida or Electrolux.

@stick : mindwell split acs will require a little bit of maintainance every now and then and you have to have an AMC to maintain it.

onida costs 1 tonne : about 17.5 k with installation.
O-general costs 1 tonne : about 27k without installation.

other should be in line of onida cost.

Hello Medpal,

What's AMC charges do you paid at present? is it different for different Models or same for all?

How about Kelvinator 1 TON (9.76 EER) Price 14k

Installation charges here in My city was (DEC-06) 1500/- per AC (Videocon Dealer)
 
for me installation of split ac is 1000 plus if you need any stand.

maintainance of acs window 1200 per year and split i have built in 2 years service contract so after i may need it but it should be in range of 1500
 
Onida have 1 yr warranty for Compressor, while Videocon have 6 years warranty and little bit cheaper than Onida.
