Have a look at the Accutron 26A09 from the Accutron Gemini series. I think you might like it. Can't find a decent link though.

Accutron is credited with quite a few firsts in the watch world. In fact, if I remember right they were rivaling the Omega Speedmaster in the race for being the first watch on the moon. So you would be getting something with good pedigree
