hey is zebronics locally available there? cause im using my gt on a zebronics 400watts for months now and seems to be working absolutely perfect.. no prblems at al ..so maybe tht might solve ur problem completely :p ... glad u didnt buy my gt :p hehehe....

I have been running a 6800GT on a 400W ColorsIt in a Perx cabinet for last 1.5 years. But its not advised to use such an underpowered PSU (that too with false ratings). I have started getting problems this summer. The 12V line is showing 13.3 V in PC Wizzard 2006 and some times my computer wont boot. So now I am changing to a Antec Neo HE 500W and a Zebronics Jamaica. Even for a 6600GT its not good to run on a Colors IT 400W. The correct rating of this PSU is only 250W. Better go for a Powersafe or Zebronics (SkyHawk) PSU. If budget is a problem, then atleast go for the ColorsIT 450W (The better quality one with the correct ratings, not the low quality one) which is available for 1100 Rs.

Iball has dual 12+v or single rail? talking about 400watts psu in market. i think its low quality just for normal use n not for gaming

Single, i think the lowest cost dual rail psu u can get is the Zebby 460W which is is skyhawk again. Around 2.1k. May be some others but this is the lowest ive heard of.

^^The skyhawk psu's arent recommened for very demanding graphics cards. Even tho they are rated high for eg the 460W skyhawk can supply only 180W on the 12V rails and even the 640W i think can deliver only 300W.

you are wrong..... The Zebronics are awesome!!! Funky ran his oc'ed Opty 165 with 1900XT, and everything else on that 640 watts without ANY problems!!! What do you have to say for that??

cool.. i thought zebies werent all that good i got my ZEBRONICS 400W psu for 450 bucks... not bad eh :).. i was thinkin of pushing my poor ol 2800 + clawhammer to 2.6 ghz but was skeptical abt the PSU.. is it possible?
