who wants cartoon network to be shown in english again?

Here in Bangalore anyway, you can get a set top box costing 1500Rs. that allows you to select which language you want to watch the channel in.

its all upto Toei, they sell the license to channels. in any case, if DBZ is ever coming back to India, it'll come back on Animax (the only channel right now in delhi to still show cartoon's in english), since in Japan, Animax telecasts DBZ regularly.

Hehe.. I just hated that hindi version of Centurions.. (Remember VIIRRR SHAKTIMAAN.. maan.. man (echo) Vir Ghorpade and stuff) and yes.. BAHADUR BILLE!! How I wish, it would go back to english
 
Yeah here in Goa its the same hindi crap...........now when the cable cum to collect the monthly payment......i send mmy dogs after him.....ive been doin dat for the past 2 months n still he keeps cumin back.......n yeasterday my dog bit him......so i told him u put Cartoon Network back in english n i will pay ur hospital bill...........Otherwise go to hell....hehheheh
 
@aditya ya they do man! its just that the cablewallas prefer to air only hindi channels....

we used to get discovery in hindi as well as english for quite some time b4 they only started showing hindi :(

well my cable walla is a nut....i wouldnt mind doing what bennick does .. :bleh:.. but well i wouldnt wanna pay his hospital bills either :bleh: ...

but i`m glad he sometimes aires c-grade movies on cable :rofl:
 
cartoon networks become boring these days.. theyve got all kinds of crap showing.. i really misss shhows like flinstones jetsons jhnny bravo and top cat

top cat was an awesme show :(
 
i'll second Top Cat....loved Cartoon Network when it was in its prime around 96-98. TC, Flints, Jets, Jossie and the pussies (lol i didn't like it that much), original Johnny Quest, Space Ghost, Birdman etc. all good memories.
 
Hmm I liked the new johnny quest cartoons, bugs bunny et gang, swatkats etc..

BTW ghost in the shell on animax is an intresting series, you guys know what time it normally comes ?

True. CN was better when it was still a foreign channel. Once they set up base in India, they ruined it with tons of ads and shity cartoons.
 
My old cable operator used to give Animax simply because it was and is a free channel. After shifting houser, the cable operator here told me to get some set top box thingy to be able to view Animax.:mad:
 
man in calcutta, the cartoons are in english when i go there for few days the only channel i luv to watch is CN damn these cable people in mumbai they only know how to watt lagaofy a channel i heard a rumour tht AXN is also gonna be aired in hindi /swt
