Why Are Young Adults Facing a Cancer Surge? The Alarming Truth

Colorectal surgeon Dr. Frank Frizelle's unsettling experience with young cancer patients sparked a deeper investigation into rising early-onset cancers globally. Data reveals a staggering 79% increase in diagnoses among individuals under 50 since 1990, highlighting a concerning trend across multiple countries. Despite advancements in detection, the rise can't be solely attributed to improved screening; lifestyle changes, environmental factors, and potential prenatal exposures may be at play. Young adults, often healthier than previous generations, are now facing unprecedented cancer risks, prompting urgent calls for targeted research and tailored treatment approaches.

What lifestyle changes do you think could help reduce cancer risks in younger populations?

Are there scientific or correlation study relating GMO to health issues ?
can't say i do nor have i the study of such in hand, but by observing the health status of a more advanced country of over 300 million people with high consumption of gmo products say otherwise. let's just say it's a matter of perspective since there would be plenty of both accounted and unaccounted variables, but a human petridish of 300+ million kinda says a lot imo.

Tu Youyou (China), researched traditional medicine, got Nobel Prize for drug treating malaria. That too on a medicinal plant which grows wildly in India, also used in Ayurveda.
I could be off, but I think that drug, which came out of Traditional Chinese medicine during the America-Vietnam War, predates Ayurveda by 500–1000 years.

All traditional medicines like Ayurveda, Chinese Traditional medicine, of which there are at least a dozen or so, have given many inputs to modern science.

Still, there's a lot of noise in the traditional medicines than there are cures. Some original or extended Ayurveda texts advocate taking mercury, lead, asphalt.

Precautionary principle should be relied upon here, because nobody is keen to fund studies that disrupt an applecart of money going around. And we already know what so many generations before us ate and were healthy (none of it was GMO off course), and that is as strong a heuristic as you will have in the absence of large scale well funded studies.

If you mean Chinese traditional medicine predates Ayurveda by 500-1000 years, it adds more credibility to that traditional medicine, so you are welcome...!!!

Thanks...!!!

Currently, one have to isolate signal from noise, lot of placebo and fakes, some are genuine.
Reason why Ayurveda have to apply hethu karaka treatment methods using modern methods in 2025. When Ayurveda arrived in pre-historic times, people those times would've treated it with disbelief.

Actually, am waiting for quantum technology augured medicine :)

Funny that. Actually it is a perfectly valid scientific question to ask that for a species where causes of diseases can potentially exists at multiple scales (global / national / state / local society / family / physical individual / organ/ tissue/cell/proteins/other molecules/atoms/quantum) - somehow modern medicine predominantly targets the molecular scale without focusing nearly enough on solutions that could exist at other scales.

For those actually interested - you might want to look up this very recent nature paper : https://www.nature.com/articles/s41746-024-01402-3

Yep, 1970/80s space technology is still fending us cosmological information, but some basic surgery on human body is difficult and intricate even now (leave alone two poor souls stuck in space which is actually totally avoidable). Problem with new age generation maybe.
Am serious about quantum technology involvement in medicine and all facet's of humanity.
