Hi!
I am in search for a nice wifi adapter for my netbook, and found out these from recommendations by fellow TE members : DealExtreme: $22.60 Blueway 802.11n 150Mbps USB Wireless WiFi Network Adapter (12dBi).
Does anyone know where i can get one of these in india? Locally through shops at mumbai or pune or any indian based Internet shopping websites would do! I dont feel confident enough to buy from DealExtreme as it takes a long time for delivery :(

TIA

You can pick up a decent D-Link or Netgear USB wireless G adapter for under 1k in almost any local computer store now.

Edit: Just noticed you're from Pune too. You can try Karan Peripherals near East Street, or Swaroop Computers near Null Stop, whichever is closer to you.

Thanks for the shop names, will check them out this week!
A decent netgear or d-link is available everywhere , i agree but, they wont do the job! i need something a bit more powerful! i need it to pickup signals from my colg! and i live in the colg hostel that's why i want an antenna !

Considering the number of replies i have got , i dont have any hope i will get it here from shops! :(

I checked out the model, sounds good! but deal extreme doesnt have it! saw it in amazon, but shipping tends to be costly. Where can i purchase from with lesser shipping costs?

have you tried some local antenna with a homebrew solution of amplifying it? you can youtube for it
