Laptops WIFI LED BLINKING after every few seconds...what t

trying to use my new router asus 520gu with acer 5580 aspire but the wifi led is just blinking..whAT this means....

i am using windows 7 ultimate.

what to do plz help....

i m running wired net on lappy
and wifi led on the lappy is blinking and in windows taskbar its showing not connected..
what to do....
yeah i ran asus wizard...
m using win 7 n lappy is acer 5580 (aspire)

If you are running wired net on your laptop, you don't need wi-fi to be ON on your laptop. Just turn it off and it would stop blinking. There should be a physical switch for that on the laptop.

The LED is blinking because its a warning, its not getting IP address/net status,Try to run the network diagnose on windows,it will repair automatically.You should able to connect to internet in both wired/wireless.Also does you ISP requires the MAC ID of your device (router)to be registered.Also call your ISP supprt staff that does they gets your MAC id on thier server.
