Friend wants to buy a wifi pci card to setup an ad hoc network with his laptop.

Which one shld i go for, budget 2k.
 
have the buffalo too..but depending upon the position of ur CPU, ur wi-fi cards range wud be limited..for eg my CPU is tucked under the table and i find it difficult to get a signal there..

since u have a higher budget, i wud suggest D-link Air Premier

the antenna can be moved around t get a better signal.

I have no idea abt the price or the availability of this card. Although, it shudnt exceed 2k.
