wifi repeaters or range extenders

i have a wifi router installed at one end of my home...and i was planning to extend network coverage to other far off parts..so needed help with wifi repeaters..
please provide me some info on their models and price..
also if u have another option, suggestions r most welcum..

Buy a second router and use it in repeater mode. It'll be cheaper than a repeater, paradoxically.

Well, mine has a switch at the bottom labelled "router/AP/repeater", and if I can read it properly, it will. It involves a bit of setup in 'AP' mode for routers that don't have the 'repeater' mode (such as Linksys) but it still will work fine.

Asus RT N13u, 3100 and the price is lower than that now. Router works fine but the torrent client does not, though FTP services work fine too.

Most routers do not have that functionality, but if you can flash your router with DD-WRT, it has that functionality to set it up as a router
