wifi vs lan ,if all the devices are beside each other

i have a situation ,where my 3 devices imac,smart tv and playstation 3 are beside each other, and other 2 devices lg g3 and ipad air are far way.

my connection is act 100 mbps,despite of changing router to d link n300,i am unable to get atleast 60 mbps
so i connected all 3 devices via lan ports and cable from router ports and wifi signal,right now i am getting 98 mbps dl;and i am able to pair youtube between imac=smart tv=mobile=ipad and able to use plex server among the devices for streaming and no loss of connectivity

buy a n600 mbps router

N600 = N300 on 2.4GHz band + N300 on 5GHz band. You won't really see an improvement on a single device. You might see a collective improvement with ~50Mbps on one 2.4GHz device + ~50Mbps on another 5GHz device simultaneously.

N450 on a single band is the next step up from N300, and the fastest on the N standard, but it relies on your client devices (laptops, tablets) being equipped for N450 as well - which is rare.
