Will racing wheel mod on Steam version of GTA V lead to ban?

Does G29 Logitech racing wheel needs mod for GTA V on PC Steam version.
Will using mods on Steam version lead to ban of Steam or Rockstar account ?
Heard people got banned by Rockstar for using recording export bug mod on GTA V.

Rockstar bans the social club account of the user. Steam does not allow for the player to change their linked rockstar account, so essentially you will be banned from playing GTA V using your steam account.

I'm not sure if a racing wheel mod is a bannable offence, or if its even detected by Rockstar. But knowing them, I wouldn't risk it.

I mean if you are talking about online then most likely you'll be banned. But single player you will be fine just don't go online accidentally.
