Graphic Cards Will this AGP 8x fit in a AGP 4x?

I got my old graphics card damaged. Now i wanted t know whether this AGP 8X XFX Geforce 6200 fit in the AGP 4x slot on my motherboard. The motherboard is VIA P4M266-8235.

This is purely just for the display purpose cos this is been used as a D/W Rig.

yeah definetly it will work. I have been using my FX5200 8X AGP several years before on a 4X AGP slot motherboard.

8X and 4X are just the data transfer bandwidth limit and it does not have any difference interms of the slots.

AGP8x cards will not work in an AGP4x rated slot. AGP8x cards have different notches in the slot connector thn AGP4x cards. AGP4x cards will work fine in AGP8x slots though.
