Hi Guys,

Ordered a B650e MB and a Ryzen 9 7900x CPU and this RAM.

It says it's AMD EXPO compatible but in the specs it also says recommended use Intel B660/Z690. I checked on the MB list and it supports the same RAM with 38 CAS latency but this specific one is not on the list.

It should work. It's best to buy RAM which is on the motherboard's QVL (Qualified Vendor List), but the motherboard manufacturer cannot possibly test every available RAM model.

But why this particular RAM model, if I may ask? There are many other types with similar specs in the same price range.

Saw it recommended on some YT videos, but anyway returned it and asking for something from the QVL list.
Is ADATA a good brand?

ADATA XPG Lancer Blade kit is in the QVL list as well this G.Skill Ripjaws S5 RAM kit is also in the list. Choose which ever is cheaper and both kits are CL30 kits but I would prefer G.Skill. I am using G.Skill SniperX 16GB 3600Mhz kit since 6 years and no probs what so ever.

Thanks, wanted white RAM with ARGB. Found this which seems freely available and it's on their QVL list.

Adata is fine for memory, mostly shit for storage drives.

Thanks.

Found this in white. Not on the QVL list but seen it recommended in some build websites with Aorus MBs. Think it will do?

Generally G.Skill RAMs work in almost all systems.

Yes, they will..I use the same in my right. Also, the Tridents are better binned. Better than adata. I have an Aorus X870 Elite
