Usually you get shaped after you cross a certain quota or are you saying your ISP shapes all kinds of downloads ?

The answer is simple in that case, upgrade to a higher data account or change your ISP. Otherwise if you manage to pull more than they allow you then you will be breaking the T & C's and they will eject you from their service.
 
Accounts in UL with 10 megs speed browsing ,youtube or any online video is awesome .Just that http downloads are bad ,people are reporting 1.5Meg download speed on https connection.I am trying to use usenet,having hard time understanding it .
 
It seems confusing at first just like torrents but you get the hang of it.

Usenet Search Engine: binsearch.info

Search file .Download its .nzb file(like a torrent file).

Open .nzb file using a newsreader.some usenet providers will give a new reader for download.I used Grab It.

Your usenet provider will give you username and password.Enter it into Grab It and start downloading.
 
Got it setup but are there any free news groups coz most of them i come across don't allow nzb's anything more than 20 days
