well i wanted to know
what is the advantage of wimax against wifi

--its range which is upto 30 miles in p2p connection
and upto 50 km in low frequency range 2-11 GHz
which is because of power of xmitter
---base stations r cheap coz they consume less energy
---its cost is very less, The price paid per Hz for WIMAX spectrum is as much as 1000 times lower than for 3G spectrum
---it enables 4G OF MOBILES

Well i wanted to know what should i exactly stress on ,as i have to give a
presentation on it
IF U HAVE SOME MORE MATERIAL ON 'HOW TO SETUP WIMAX NETWORKS SUCCESSFULLY' OR NYTHING ON WIMAX PLZ LET ME KNOW

well.. nothing much to say as we all love mr google . Its a promising wireless technology. you can check with intel site, they had demo in India Pune.

I think issue is with the finalization of technology or standardization of it. its been long it came up .. but not yet coming to market. Base station may be cheap but the receiving end will be daam costly at least as per current scenario.

As you are going to give this as presentation you can stress on its long range which in turn low cost of reaching remote areas of Indian village. have internet in every one's reach, rural development.
